Applications are displayed in the 'newest additions' section based on
the submit date of the app. Hence, if your app was pending for a while
(where the reviewer was making recommendations and you were updating
the spec etc.), it may not make it into the list.

The issue here is not about app not being listed in directory. It is
about it never showing up in 'New Additions'. Another application I
submitted before showed up in the 'New Additions' section (where 3
newest apps are listed at a time) for few hours which was enough to
gain a good user base for

Apps are listed based on popularity. If your app has been
approved, it could be that it is on one of the last few pages. With
close to 2000 apps, best way to see if your app is listed is to search
for it. If you still don't find your app, send a reminder to the orkut
