We're having issues with our kernel getting bogged down by callout_list_get.
I sent a mail about this a couple months ago but I never got a reply. My
server is once again spending 80-90% of its time in the kernel and looking
into it, it is callout_list_get that is using up 81% of the kernel time.

Hi Carlopmart:
Yes, but you should do the zfs umount and export manually. In fact that
this work may be not necessary. If you do that, after the system reboot,
you should re-import the zpool from iscsi target if you want to use them
next time.

Bing

that the network chip (Realtek RTL8111D) has issues under Ope

Looks like rsync is my best option in future. Thanks Stewart for the good
detail. So far, I have only used grsync (graphical frontend to rsync), before
moving to unison, so will have to learn it proper (from command line). I do
know that rsync is an excellent tool, however scp is easy because it
Thanks Bing, but only one question. Is it possible to umount all zfs volums and
zpools (only disks that are connected by iscsi initiator) before launching the
shutdown or reboot command??

Yes, you can export iSCSI volumes and combine them into a pool.
