Same problem here, kernel panic vfs_mountroot: cannot mount root after LU from
b106 to b123 or b124.
This may be interesting: I have completely different hardware, hp xw6400 with
intel 5000x chipset and lsi sas controller using mpt driver. This is sxce with
ufs root.
I tried to upgrade because

Or the root cause for the ahc
Acer Travelmate 6292 that I use is using i915 driver.
The device driver utility list it as

The problem in b118 is when I typed something the display delays in showing

Hi Steven Acres,
I have the same problem even with b124. Can you post the driver files you
copied from b121 somewhere maybe in rapidshare ? Currently I didn't have BE
b121, I tried to copy the file from b118 but still cannot mount root filesystem.
In b117 & b118 the graphic performance has degra

Hmm, this mainboard is using an AMD/ATI SB700 chipset?
Could this be bug 6875025 ?

It is a SATA disk (and is now working ok on snv_121).
The MOBO is Gigabit GA-MA78GM-S2H; the OnChip SATA Type is set to AHCI in the

updated BE twice to b122 with the same effect. The splash screen comes up and
selecting b122 reboots the system after a short time.
