Thanks Victor. Of course I'm using Winblows. I'm curious whether this method
would work on binaries. I tried something on Windows with GNU SED for Windows,
but no joy (at least on the binaries).
I suspect the problem may lie in the whole LF => CR/LF problem along with the
prepended line.

Hi,
I saw this old article and thought it might allow me to do what I want. I
want to be able to have a separate note type to keep track of any costs e.g.
hardware associated with a call. I am concerned by the warning given below:

hello
I'm running OTRS 1.1.3 on a shared hosting
So I don't have access for stopping/starting MySQL, to directories
like var/, etc...
When I first installed OTRS it wasn't an easy task... I had to change
some paths on sources to make it works ok
Now I ended up with OTRS installed on /home/usernam
I'm running OTRS 1.3.2 with MySQL 4.1.
No problems

Peter

Subject: [otrs] MySQL upgrade question
Hello,
I am running OTRS 1.2.3.
Hello,
Anyone have any ideas on this or is hacking the configuration
files the only way to do this? If so, can anyone point me to some
docs so I can read up on how to implement?
Thanks in advance!

It should be a painless upgrade, but like any upgrade,
if you can, you might want to test it on a development machine
first.

Hello,
I am running OTRS 1.2.3. The version of MySQL included in the install
package was 4.0. I am planning on putting another application on this
server that requires MySQL 4.1, however. Does anyone know if this will
cause any problems with my current installation of OTRS?
Thanks,
Christophe
Hi Mark,
I only used the X-Headers to filter incoming emails and I cannot quickly think
of a way to include X-Header content within an email.
Perhaps someone else could shine some light on this for you.
Hope you get your answer.

Graeme

Hello,
We are currently massively using notification messages from OTRS (the
ones that are set in Admin area / notifications). I found that the
automatic sending different messages are controlled in these menus (tell
me if I'm wrong) :

Hello,
I am currently installing OTRS ver 1.3.2 at my office for internal use.
We found this software great, and had very few problem during

creating our own template.

Mark,
I can also create your own variables.

I had a question like yours on 7/1/2004 10:57 AM (See: "[otrs] ticket id
in the body" message) and that is what Robert from OTRS team told me.
Maybe v2 will have more
