used the rpm on both servers to install OTRS. Could it be that OTRS
somehow thinks I'm still running MySQL 3.23.x and therefor does not
communicate correctly with the database or something? I'd really like

Today I upgraded PHP (4.4.1 -> 4.4.2) and MySQL (3.23.x -> 4.1.15) on
my Fedora Core 2 server and restart both the MySQL and Apache
webserver. All seems to work (I run several vhosts on this server)
