You can set the queues so that autoresponses are sent to both the customer
and an agent email of your choice without the need for any special
programming. Alternately, there is a setting to BCC all messages to a
specific external mailbox.

It seems that you just need to modify your notification body.
Menu notifications, choose language::Customer::Stateupdate
then put whatever you want in the body replacing the default keys.

i found a problem when replying to an e-mail - while creating reply
message, it's not possible to choose key for signing it. is there
something i should be aware of, when using this feature?

I picked a global setting while installing and configuring, which might be a bot
of overkill, but anyway:
My Config.pm says: $Self->{Debug} = 9;
I get plenty of output with that.
