Actually, very interestingly enough that the faqs appear for the public
faq.pl page just finethey just don't appear at all in the admin
area..this is very strange indeed.
Any help would be appreciatedbut other than that I'm up and running
thanks to Nils easy steps on installing otrs

The upgrade/migration went well from the windows to linuxeverything
works fine except even after activating the faq module, I still cannot
see any of the previously created faq's...even though I see them in the
database...is there something that I did wrong here?

Does anyone know what was the use of adding the Customer Company link. I see
you can add company addresses and assign it a customer id, but what was it
added to 2.2 for? What purpose does it serve?

Has anyone gotten OTRS to work over a secure connection to a OpenLDAP
server? I've solved all the other problems I've run into, can't seem to
get it to communicate on port 636.

I did run that script and I thought that I did use the right permissions.
OTRS is installed using the 'otrs' user with home directory '/opt/otrs' and
group 'otrs'. The web server is installed as a regular user who has sudo
privileges. As a result, I did run SetPermissions as:

running PostgreSQL 8.1 and Apache 2.2.x.

If you already added some users you can insert a * into the "Search
for" field and press Search.
Then al users added should show up. OTRS does not query the database
by it self, you have to query it by means of inserting a search string
into the search field.

I am running OTRS::ITSM 2.2.4 on Apache and Windows server 2003. I am
not having any problems with otrs. I have recently upgraded to 2.2.4
and that went fine. I suggest you check you're logs, also the windows
eventviewer.
