Martin,
thank you! That certainly worked.

Hello,
I have successfully upgraded from 3.0.12 to 3.1.17. The free text fields
migrated to dynamic fields and I have successfully configured them to
display in ticket views and searches.
However, the dynamic fields that are displayed in the ticket view are
truncated, showing only the first 25
Any ideas on if Master Slave ticket functionality is available in 3.1.2?

Is master/slave ticket functionality available in 3.12? I have it
installed and do not see the "slave" link type that the Admin Manual
advertises. Nor do I see any config items regarding this. Nor is a plugin
available. Is this just not implemented yet?
All the best and thanks so much for all

Hello,
I'm seeing the following error when I run otrs.CheckModules.pl from the

Line 402 of otrs.CheckModules is:

Hello,
I've successfully implemented OTRS for the helpline section at a U.S.
State Government Agency and it's really changed for the better how they do
business. I am slowly but surely winning over the hearts and minds of other
sections as well. I've started basic and informal training events w
I sent this to the ITSM group several weeks ago, but found no response, so
I'm forwarding here.
Is there a significance to linking tickets to changes or workorders other
than reference? I don't see how I can create a condition based upon a
ticket state.

Agreed. We use nmap2mysql to build initial databases, then selectively
import into the CMDB. The next evolutionary step would be an OTRS CMDB
client agent.

If you've somehow set your Google email account to prevent emails from being
deleted by clients, I'm curious if OTRS continues to download the same

You have to enable the feature that allows you to change the state of
tickets in various windows, such as the note window.
In sysconfig:
- navigate to: Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewNote
- look for the item, Ticket::Frontend::AgentTicketNote###State
- set it to *Yes*
Now, go to the close
Hareendra,
Regarding question #1. I don't think you can restrict ticket articles from
specific agents. If an agent has read only (ro) and/or read write (rw) to a
group to which a queue belongs, that agent will be able to see everything.
If you don't want an agent to see any information about a c
What is the "normal importer" you're using? I'm curious if there's a better
tool/method than I use for importing tickets from one OTRS system into
another OTRS system.
RE: your question.
I'm guessing you'll need to update the change_time column in the ticket
table. I don't see a column for "sol
