Nice image; it well depicts the situation you describe.
Yesterday was about 20 degrees F less than the previous three days,
and we had a touch of sleet. Today in grey, and chilly, and wet, and
miserable. I prefer the snow.

Very nice. Looks like you only go a couple inches of the white stuff.
It finally turned to winter here in SE Wisconsin and is expected to be
in the mid-20s (F) for the next week or so. Six to eight inches of
snow, sleet and freezing rain here. It took me 40 minutes to drive to a
job this mor
This has been the mildest December on record, and even if we have a deep freeze
cold-snap to finish the year it will remain the warmest ever.
