It should say "Super Multi Coated" on the front of the lens.

have the winner. It must be SMC and not just Super Takumar.

Three versions actually. But if yours is the Super Takumar with amber coating or
amber/blue coating, it would be the first version,
without multi-coating.

P.S. Some very late Super-Takumars came through with SMC so compare coating to a
known SMC version to determine if you got lucky...
