Well, as sometimes happen an occasion got lost but a better one cropped up again. Today I acquired an MX in very good condition, with a SMC-M 50/1.7 and an original but really worn case for only 150 Euro (135 USD). I still have to run a test roll through it - expect to do it during the weekend but everything seems to work properly. The big problem is this camera was supposed to be a present for my father's birthday but I'm already having second thoughts about that, maybe a nice sweater is fine.... A very nice camera, anyway, and my first totally mechanical one, since the old Voightlander RF I learnt the first basics of photography upon. Just wanted to share.
