2024-09-24 Thread David J Brooks
Thanks Rick

#13 is from a trick Tony Sweet showed us in 2005 or 2006 at GFM, but
setting camera to low iso and fstop around 22 to get a slow shutter like
3.5" as in this case, then rotate camera left along its axis, as in this
case, using an 18-300 zoom

I”m curious about how you shot #13. Were you zooming a fisheye lens?

Nice, Dave. Especially fond of the tenth one, #D724384. Love that kind
of loose balance.

Lovely work, Dave. Your b&w leaves (D724384) are stunning.

Glad you were able to get out there for what remains of our summer!

2024-09-18 Thread Alan C

Well done, Dave

You have a good eye allowing you to make something of nothing. I need to
try harder!

Now, your knee. You sound like an ailing Road Runner. Could be simply an
overpronation problem which requires stiffer, less flexible shoes.
Otherwise, perhaps a knee replacement. Hope you can sort it out.
