Thanks for all the suggestions and offers , gentlemen - I have procured the right thingy from Andorama ordering over the phone - with a bit of luck I should have it in a couple of days.. it will go out tomorrow (Before Rosh Hashanah). FHS 300W 82V is the correct model for the 4400 and a few others.. Do you have the type number? Pity I'm not still working - I had a vast stock of obsolescent and obsolete bulbs there.
