Michael Ramirez, the Bushist political cartoonist for the Los Angeles TIMES, has a 'toon today that expresses this desperation: It shows the Marines planting the US flag on Iwo Jima, with a carping liberal critic (Boo!) asking "You beat Hitler and Tojo, you liberated Auschwitz, but you didn't find any Weapons of Mass Destruction!"
