nothing works with the search results list, the individual song titles
Oh, it does usually work. But not in the Songs list :-(. I'll have to get
out a new release soon...
Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to fix it tonight (CET).

Hi bpa
I first tried the Windows installer executable but it refused to go
past the second folder confirmation dialogue - each time I clicked NEXT
nothing happened.
So I used the ZIP file instead. I manually extracted the files
(keeping the folder names) into the SlimServer/server folder so tha
I am using the Bookmark plugin to listen to audio books on an SB2 I
recently mounted in my car, but I'd like to make a small change to it.
I mapped it so when I hold 0 on the remote it brings up the plugin, but
the default menu entry is the last action done. I'd like to change
this so the defaul

The left hand side will show a web version of the menu options that you
see on the Squeezebox so you have a problem.
Since you have the same problem on 2 browsers, I think there is
something wrong in the installation.
How did you install AlienBBC ?

Well, got both the headphones and the IR repeater working. I updated to
the beta version of Slimserver and ran the firmware update. That seemed
to fix both issues. The IR Repeater is now working.
Thanks for your help.

Hi
I'm new to SlimServer and I'm wondering if I have screwed up my
installation of the AlienBBC plugin somehow.
I installed AlienBBC and it works fine (I can listen to BBC streams)
from the softsqueeze player. Also the configuration menu under
Home/Server Settings/AlienBBC works as expected.

I select "Songs"from the drop down list and am prompted to 'enter at
least 2 characters'. Putting in a few characters and hitting enter then
quickly - and as far as I can see, correctly - generates a list of
songs. The trouble is that it doesn't seem like you can then do
anything with this list.
I just sat down to try to get this working for 6.5b1. When I initially
upgraded to 6.5, I was getting all kinds of warning messages about changes that
I would need to make to get the plugin to work in 6.5.
Perhaps all of the problematic code was due to work I was doing to add a plugin

I've checked in a fix which I believe will solve this problem.
It takes into account the different installation locations which exist
on non-windows OS's.
Fingers crossed...

Yes, only one plugin can get the rating command, TrackStat in your case,
and iTunes Update won't set the rating in iTunes unless it believes it's
been changed.
I guess I could always set the iTunes rating using what's in the
SlimServer database... I'll have a look at doing that...

I have had nothing but problems getting almost any plugin to work with
my new Mac. I recently migrated from my PC to a Mac and can't get any
plugin to work. Everything worked fine on the PC.
I have:

This is probably due to an old version of mplayer. There is a newer

Have AlienBBC (1.01) installed on Mac 10.3.9 working fine except that
when listening to live feed of any station the audio eventually gets
garbled as if more than two streams are being accessed at same time.
Never happens if I listen to an archive programme - any tips or
settings i should look at?
I often set a rating for the current track via TrackStat. iTunesUpdate
doesn't reflect this when it updates iTunes though. Is this how it's
supposed to work? Or is TrackStat interfering by taking over the task
of adding ratings (I seem to recall that function is borrowed from
iTunesUpdate)

It's down all weekend whilst the admins work on the new server
architecture.
There's been a note in the System Status thread for ages but they've
recently put a link on the home page because of all the "my tracks
aren't submitting" posts on the Last.fm forum.
Should be back up on Monday.

Hi everybody,
I just realised that my last.fm/SlimScrobbler submissions do not work
any more... I am not sure when it stopped working, all I can say is
that it did when I was running SlimServer 6.2.1.
At the moment I am using 6.2.2 on Mac OS X:
SlimServer Version: 6.2.2 - 6951 - Mac OS X 10.4.6
Hi psb4me
Sorry to hear. One last thing: Did you power-cycle your SB3 before
checking with the headphones? Just to make sure the output has switched
back from IR Blaster to headphones?
Cheers
