Do you do anything different with the ratings if you connect to a
slimserver 6.5 compared to 6.2.* ?
The reason I ask is because I think I might have found a way for the
CLI commands in TrackStat to work with both 6.2 and 6.5. When I run the

AFIAK Transcoding of WMA on a PC uses some Windows libraries which may
not be present on OSX.
What player are you using Slimp3, SB1, SB2/3 or Softsqueeze ?

If it is still garbled then I don't think you are running the new
version.
To check the version, can you run mplayer from a Terminal and copy the
banner lines to a post in the forum.
What processor are your running G3, G4, G5 ?

At this point I really don't know.
I suspect there's some problem with the module path on OSX, but once the
plugin has appeared, it should stay there.
As before, the d_plugins output from reloading the Plugin Settings page
(or starting SlimServer) would be most useful.

mplayer.sh and mplayer not being on the path.
Edit mplayer.sh (not with textpad) and change the line
app=mplayer
to
app=/usr/local/bin/mplayer
