One can create terrain by using any arbitrary mesh or by using the Terrain component (EC_Terrain), the Terrain guide is not online on the web yet, but you should be able to figure things out by reading the raw HTML version of it here https://github.com/LudoCraft/Tundra/blob/835a72464dd86ee3a636f6d9
