I know there are some problems with compiling the kernel with gcc2.95, and I
have heard other complaints about compiling other software as well, maybe
there isn't a 2.95 RPM because its not *ready* for mass consumption yet...

Hi, Friends,
Is there any gcc 2.95 RPM package for RH 6.0 available?
I can find nearlly anything in an RPM Package except the gcc 2.95.
What's wrong? Does gcc 2.95 have problem with RH 6.0? Or there is the
package, but I just didn't find it?
I have thought to build it by myself. After reading s
Michael,
I have the following entry in my /etc/ld.so.conf, and I did run
ldconfig after checking that the entry was inthe file. The libraries
there are placed there by the qt1x-1.44-3 and qt1x-devel-1.44-3 rpms.
qt1x-devel-1.44-3: libqimgio.so, libqt.so, links to .so.x-files
qt1x-1.44-3: libqimg
I've just put a tape drive on a client's redhat 5.2 system and although things
appear to be working great, we're getting kernel error messages about the tape
drive.
We're running amanda and the messages came up while doing an amlabel when it
checked to see if the tape had anything it knew on

Why is not the library libqimgio found when building kdebase? I have
an entry for /usr/lib/qt-1.44/lib in ld.so.conf! Perhaps
-L/usr/lib/qt-1.44/lib should be added to the list of libaries?
kdebase-1.1.2-7.src.rpm: Builds with workaround, LONG compile time!!
Depends on qt-2.0.1-3.src.rpm and lib
