So...I'm onto my problem...the runlevel itself! /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S85httpd is Full multiuser mode (normal operation)
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S85httpd is Runlevel 3 + XWindows login In all my earlier posts note that I'm setting rc3.d! % ln -s /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S85httpd Now, that's the ticket. Thanks for the debugging help.
