Can anyone tell me, did Kenwood wire their microphones the same for
their commercial radios and their Ham Radios?
In particular TK760 and any modular plug Kenwood Ham radios?
Also, does the TK760 have 8 volts DC on the audio line to power an
electric element like the ham stuff?

The problem we have in SW PA on 2mtrs, is rain and snow static.
Electricly Charged rain drops and snow flakes.
They discharge on the antenna or tower and desence the repeater
receiver. We also get the ion cloud that precedes the thunder storms.
Some un-expected lightning strikes come from that clo
I use the Scanner recorder It does time and date stamp.
Set it up for 8 bit mono recording and drop the sample rate down.
