My friend David got an "unknown encoding" error while
trying to install combinat on top of a freshly compiled
sage-4.6.1 (compiled from source yesterday on a Mac
running Mac OS X 10.5.8). Here is the relevant excerpt:

For the record: add_demo_how_to_contribute--foldme--sl.patch I had
already folded on my machine; so the problem is closed. Also, in the
mean time, Nicolas B. removed free_commutative_monoid-nb.p

Lorsqu'un patch ne s'applique pas, mercurial crée un fichier
le_fichier_en_question.rej qui correspond au diff qui n'est pas
appliqué sur l'original. I

I just put a guard on the following patches:
add_demo_how_to_contribute--foldme--sl.patch
free_commutative_monoid-nb.patch
trac_10167-posets_Jposet_ARmatrix_fc.patch
They all have a trivial reject.
It would be good if their respecive author could take care of it,
