Hi

I did sage -docbuild all html to provide local
documentation on each of 100 PCs on which I image
from a central server. It is a nice way to provide
a lab in a low-bandwidth environment with
sage and sage docs locally.

The docs are viewed via a browser to
file:////usr/local/src/sage-3.4/devel/sage/doc/output/html/en/index.html
not via a web server. It looks just like this:
http://www.sagemath.org/doc/

I edited above file to add a trailing /index.html to each of the
eight links to separate sections, else the browser goes to a directory
listing instead of to index.html. Perhaps this can be patched.
It seems at all lower levels there are not so many or any nested
directories which cause this problem.

Separately, I have many French students (and Arabic) and I don't see a link
to the French version of the tutorial easily on above page. I believe one was
built? I know it is here,
file:////usr/local/src/sage-3.4/devel/sage/doc/output/html/fr/tutorial
but perhaps a link from the english tutorial or main doc page is apt.
Perhaps "docs in other languages" or "tutorial in other languages"?
It may also encourage future translations.

regards,
Jan
