Position: Computer Software Module Lead
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: 6+ Month Project
Interview: Phone Hire
Purpose:
Software person developing system-level interfaces between end-item units,
protocols, libraries, client/server, and test programs and methods. This
person, as the software lead for the project, interfaces with multiple
groups.
Responsibilities:
§ Function as SW lead for the project in embedded Linux environment
§ Code in C/C++
§ Generate documentation
§ Combine existing packages and deliveries from internal groups to create
final release
§ Other related duties as assigned by management and/or executive team.
Education and Experience:
§ Computer Engineering or Computer Science Degree required.
§ 5-7 years embedded Linux development
§ Protocol development and support
§ Demonstrated success as software lead
Demonstrated Competence in the following:
§ Familiar with RTOS concepts
§ Capable of reading a schematic
§ Basic operation of oscilloscope
§ Familiar with release strategies
§ Comfortable with version control systems
§ Good Communication and presentation skills
