You cant trust in everything you see. You can fake it very very easy. In apache, for example, if you change the config file httpd.h (i`m not sure if the name is correct) you can change the server name for whatever you want. It seens to be only a joke from the sys admin from there. see you >On

Yes and no. We used to have a load balancing cluster of Windows 2000 IIS servers behind caching (proxy) servers running Linux and caching software from Inktomi. This setup also showed up in Netcraft as IIS5.0 on Linux, although it obviously wasn't entirely correct... I suspect ministryofsound.c

It's most likely due to a firewall or load balancer. For example, they could have a linux router, which would get detected as a linux machine, that forwards the ports inwards to a windows box running IIS. This would detect the firewall as windows, and the forwarded webserver as IIS. It could als
