Pat,
Don't know about the Black Rock shafts, but the driver
shaft listed in the '99 GS catalog is a Bullwhip 47", 4.0 torque, 65 gram
shaft.
The Bullwhip II+ in this year's catalog is a different animal...45", 72-74
grams and same 4.0 torque. The Bullwhip II is 45", 69-72 grams and 5.5 t
Thanks Bernie,
I have all of Golfsmith's catalogs dating
back to 94" except 95, 98 and 99. Are the Bull whip shafts similar to the black
rock shafts? The one he has is the #2 regular.

Toward the heel certainly makes sense. I'm not sure high makes it that much

Rifle 4.5! Under the grip you will find a 4.5 tag unless someone scrapped it of during

Simple answer to this problem is filling the shaft tip with epoxy during assembly will
cause shaft tip breakage when the ball is struck toward the heel or sometimes toward
the toe or if the sole is struck on the ground before striking the ball. DON'T FILL
THE SHAFT TIP WITH EXCESS EPOXY WHEN ASS
If you want to "soak off" rust try spraying with WD-40 then rub with fine steel wool.
Naval Jelly will also work much faster but it is probably overkill.

Pat,
I have a customer looking for a 3 & 5wood to match
his Driver, are there such clubs ?
See the GS 1999 catalog, page 69 for Black Rock XLD-3 48" driver head, spec
weight 183 grams. The fairway woods were KB II stainless at 14° 3W and 17° 5W.
No more KB Black Rock clubs in the 2003 GS

interested in getting them. Just pulled the head of the driver and it

I asked this question about a week ago and don't
know if it ever went thru, if it did, my apologies. Ten years ago I built
my first set of clubs with Golfsmith's Dynamic weighted irons Model #2003 from
the 1994 catalog. Recently I left my PW out on the course and whom ever found it
