Mark,
Interesting about the Cleveland loft. I've misplaced my reference, but
Ping acknowledged that they purposefully mark the soles of their
drivers with stronger lofts than they actually are. The realize that
many of their male customer's egos would get in the way of getting a
good fit.

Tom,
I had a similar thing happen to me a few months ago, I had a Wishon 915 CFE, 420cc, 12 degree in the bag for over 2 years, fantastic club, every new driver came out I'd try and none ever impressed me enough to consider changing. A member of my regular saturday foursome came with a new driver,

Afternoon Tom,
The loft on this club is 10.5°. I just
finished hitting a dozen balls in my yard and eleven were at least 240 yrds
long and within a fairway width of fifty yards.

referrals to articles at various online addresses, and at the

Was it the head or was it the shaft frequency that was a better fit for

My opinion on cobra heads and extra distance. Cobra heads play weaker than
the stated loft. They are also for the most parts closed face and draw
biased. The extra 25 yards came from you hitting the ball straighter instead
of going right on you.
