Rough up the tape with some coarse sandpaper, and apply some Liquid Nails (contact
cement).

I use this on my MOG ($35 Hill Pounder). It's super easy to apply, but I haven't
applied it directly to EPP. It adheres to a layer
of strapping tape just fine. It can also be painted, Krylon works great! When it gets
really trashed, it comes off easy, and it also
saves the strapping tape from ex
