Title: RE: [RCSE] Aluminum Spars

You might want to read the article in the winch doctor's web page about zoom

The definatve answer from the winch doctor is:
it depends!
If you are launching a whole bunch of sailplanes all day long, get a deep
cycle marine battery as big as you are willing to carry.
If you are only interested in launching YOUR airplanes for but a few, killer
launches, get a regular car

I checked with National Tool & Manufacturing and they sell the ejector pins
that are not hard all the way through (NOT the 'fully nitrided') these are
probably the best for our use as wingrods as they have a tough inner core

I have one of his TX mitts. It is really BIG, I thought it could be smaller,
but you need lots of room inside it, and a big opening to get your hand in

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T COMBAT WITH THE HAWKS!!!

Also, same question for a 4 cell pack

Saturn had a Helmut Quabeck 1585 (I think) which is very similar to the

I had one, it was a great flier, couldn't even think about busting it on the
launch, it had a BIG wingrod.

It's probably NOT you. It's probably your set up. Small changes like CG,
incidence, even the computer TX setup can change a sweetheart into a pig!
My GUESS would be that you need less positive incidence, and less
noseweight. Try that for starts. I have seen a Gilette fly at Kiona, and it
