[RCSE] Flight Sim recommendations

Choices on the market seemingly abound. Can anyone recommend a flight sim application that is worthwhile as a training aid? Concerned most about sailplanes, particularly thermal, but slope would be entertaining as well. Thanks in advance for the feedback R/ Dave Stack
