I suggest using DENATURED ALCOHOL from the paint thinner section of your
hardware store. "Ordinary" alcohol could be interpreted by some as
Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, which often has a high water content (up to 50%
or more).
Also, when using Denatured Alky, apply in thin layers so the alcohol
