Dear HLG Enthusiasts:

On behalf of the Torrey Pines Gulls, our Platinum Sponsor, Airtronics, and
our Gold Sponsors - Composite Structures Technology (CST); FMA Direct;
Hitec/RCD; Hobbico-Futaba Radios; Horizon-JR Radios; Hobby Club; Kennedy
Composites; Maple Leaf Designs; Peak Electronics and R/C Direct, I want to
thank everyone for the tremendous interest in the IHLGF 2005. For only the
second time in our 12 years of holding this little contest we have exceeded
the limit of 90 registered pilots. Not only do we have more pilots than
ever registered for the event, but we also have the largest contingent of
International pilots (12) representing the largest number of countries (6).
The US is well represented with 79 pilots from 16 states -- from Washington
to Florida; California to Massachusetts; Texas to Minnesota and a host of
wonderful states in between.

I also want to thank all the pilots who registered for the DSL Clinic.
Without the very generous donation of time and talent that the world class
instructors have committed to make this wonderful opportunity a reality,
there would be no DSL Clinic and for this we all say THANKS!

The new updated IHLGF 2005 Pilot Roster, with assigned channels, will be
posted to the IHLGF 2005 website
(http://www.torreypinesgulls.org/IHLGF2005.htm) today. If you are a
registered pilot, please check and make sure you know your assigned channel.
If you think you have registered and your name does not appear on this
roster, I would suggest that you contact me immediately at 619-913-4949.
Wednesday, May 18th, will be the final day before the roster is set in
stone.

Thanks again for your overwhelming support of the IHLGF 2005. We look
forward to seeing you the first week of June.

Ron Scharck, Registrar
