The first "Slope" race will not be until Jan 2000 at the earliest. I have a Combat Slope Race on September 19th in Poway. Very short course for 48 inch wings, 48 inch warbirds and mini warbirds, maybe the large warbirds if there are some, and the wind is good enough. These are all foamie classes and the kick is to fly around the pylons and combat is legal during the race. There is another event that day while I am setting up the finals. Some team event where one ship is counted for laps, while it's escorts are protecting it and trying to take out the other teams. Still waiting for Dan and Steve to announce the details.
