Yhe problem with clips and locks other than a TSA Lock is that I have had vandalism and got Sportube HALVES coming out of the baggage conveyor. With the TSA lock, you can stand there and help the TSA inspector take it apart, and put it back in, and supposedly it will not be reopened after that inspection. Holes punched in my carbon wings, big ones, and bent in half rudders is what you chance and noisy bored backroom baggage guys looking for goodies. Gordy
Take the lock with you, but use something like a binder ring or a hitch pin on the airline. Securely fasten whatever you use to the case and hope they put it back right if they do open the case. If you use a lock, hang the key on the lock. Use a cable tie to keep both the key and the lock attached to the case. Skip Miller has a nice clip that he uses, but I haven't found one quite like it.
