I have to thank DP for timing for me. Definitely help me squeak out some
time I may not have done without him. Bad landing day (Great landing

I started the day with a max time and landing! Usually its a flip over due
to the down wind that happens but I had calm air since I drew first

Just got off the phone with the John Jay Inn and it appears a Scratch
Tournament has blocked out a significant number of rooms. Including all
the downstairs rooms. I called Holiday Inn and was told the Scratch
people have blocked out many rooms there as well.

We got to see some cool foamy 3D this past weekend. I thought maybe

sailplane social event in the world, with some people arriving almost a week
ahead of the actual contest to hang out with like minded folk, and

hiatus with a plane I'd never flown before (an X-21) and without any practice to
speak of (6 bungee launches Friday afternoon for programming/trimming flights)

Me and approach speed just got out of synch, so only one nice landing
today, which put my final score behind last season, and I am pretty sure there
are 120+ pilots who ended up with lower scores than mine feel the same way...the
landings were too easy.
