I agree with the other regarding printing the foils and sticking them to the plywood.
I also recommend the use of Laminex (Bench top material) rather than ply.
The ply often causes wire drag. The wire can also burn into the ply causing ripples. I find that I can get away using ply maybe once or twice but after that the quality of the cut degrades.
My other suggestion if you require high accuracy would be to cut a set of bottom and top templates. I prefer to cut the bottom first.
Compufoil is a great program with some great advice on cutting cores.

Hi,
I am trying to cut some airfoils on playwood to be used as frames to cut foam or balsa, however i have found it is not easy to transfer the airfoil from paper to the plywood.
I am thinking just to get wet the plywood and lay the sheet of paper with the ink face to the plywood so maybe it can get a good image
is there a better way to do it?
