kind of antenna but didnt know what it was called. What is it called?

Louis, I have a brand new 92777 and it's antenna measures 39 inches outside of the case. For comparison I measured the following rx's also.
Airtronics 92785 (new) 38.75 in.
Airtronics 92765 (used) 39.25 in.
Airtronics 92745 (used) 38.75 in.
Hitec superslim (new) 40.5 in.

Go to this web site. Enter the frequency you operate on and look at the
quarter wave length box to see the number of inches your antenna should be.
You will be safe with a length of 38.5"
