I've made two trips this year for F3b practice or contests. Both times,
I shipped the models ahead of time. My box holds multiple models. I
used to be able to provide the skycap with a nice tip and get the models
on board without extra cost. But rules have gotten tighter on size and
weight,
I've had no problem shipping on airlines with the Sportube. However, I
always hand carry my Tx.
