This is just Mr Jeger's version of the "I received your message but I am out of the office" notice. Since Mr Jeger lives in a (mostly) German speaking country, his message is written in ... German. Although I don't know the gentleman, I don't see any reason to assume that he would try to make "fun" of similar messages in English that are occasionally sent to this list. However, if seeing anything written in a foreign language offends you, I suggest using the delete button.
