I think I found that the issue, might be related to osad. Apparently,
Spacewalk is not able to ping the client. I collected the
osa-dispatcher and osad logs

No, you don't. Just use the spacewalk-reports package. Of course,
you are welcome to submit patches adding more quality reports.

When I upgraded my spacewalk server from 1.1 to 1.2 I had to remove
cobbler from exclude list in yum becouse cobbler => 2.0 was needed for
dependencies.
Now, can I use cobbler 2.0.3.1-3.el5 or I still have to downgrade it to 1.6?

I seem to be suffering from a similar issue after a 1.1 -> 1.2 upgrade.
The OSAD / Jabber issue is present, but I don’t get any 500 errors on the
webapp. I do remember on my initial (1.1) setup I had the same error. I had to
