Why then is not your $HOSTNAME changed? Did you reboot after that
change in /etc/sysconfig/network?

Thank you Miroslav!
Do you by chance know if this will get fixed in 1.2?

When I try to upload RPMs from Red Hat 5.6 to our Spacewalk server, I get an
Internal Server Error:

This morning, I changed the configuration of one of my channels and
its repository in my Spacewalk 1.2 test system, using a Oracle XE
database.
I was attempting to keep the channel and repository names, point the
repository to a different URL and delete all the (17K+) packages
within the channel.
The first error is expected, turned off satellite. The second failure is not
expected and works if set as primary.

I don't care about this specific functionality but do need a solution so
that I can take one satellite down for maintenance and redirect clients
to another (totally avoiding having a standalone instance of oracle).
It starts getting kinda tough when you have to worry about the database
and https.

Channel export is probably corrupted.
Also make sure you applied all available satellite errata on both
exporter and importer machine.
