It should not be 192.168.1.2. Change it to be something like 192.168.2.2
for setup purposes.
It should pick up its real address from the hotspot but to set it up it
should be different from internal addresses.
You are nearly there.

Hi Gary
By this I mean that Podcast development seems to stagnate and that
people seem to prefer streaming music or other radio content.
Also I think a lot of people ten

No, I only had last.fm plugin active, no squeezescrobbler... (didn't
even know that existed)
As far as I can It seems the problem seems solved bij reinstalling from
scratch.
So I guess it's an unexplained glitch, possibly due to installing a beta
nightly version who knows

You might have missed my edit earlier.
Do (did) you have SqueezeScrobbler enabled (as well as Last.fm
Audioscrobbler)?
Seeing different patterns for the artist name in the 2 scrobbles could
well mean that there were 2 different implementations doing the
scrobbling.

A question, in LMS must /proc be read or read/write.
I don't know. But I doubt it needs to be written to.

Yes, but in this case I could have this temp writing error without the
#501 error and vice versa. In my book that's a good sign that it's not
correlated.
I think that it's stre

That is what I suspected also but I really could not think of what the
2nd client could be.
It's even getting weirder: when I set the log setting to 'debug' the
problem seems to disappear. Bit

Oke here is the test version.
If there is a file called .PROC in the .qpkg/LogitechMediaServer
directory, /proc will be R/W ( like in version 2.03.31 )
If you remove it, and restart, /proc will be read like of version
2.03.35.
You could also do this, by adding a line in the .QLMS.conf.

I made backups of cache & prefs, uninstalled QLMS completely and
installed the latest (2.04) version. Looks good! Tested with both perl

What do you mean. Podcasts are more popular than ever. Are you talking

Thanks for the suggestion ! I unplugged the wifi card (didn't manage to
unplug the antenna wires - not sure if possible) but to no avail.
What I notice also is that if I wiggle the 5V power plug in the
Squeezebox, I can trigger a reboot as well, so it looks like a bad
contact. However, while the

For now i have it read only, to block anything from LMS writing in

And thats should not be a problem occurding to me.
You could try in ssh shell, stop LMS.

He didn't say he already tested it.
Playing of Radio Paradise AAC 320/128: Works fine with v.2.03.31 & perl
5.28.
Now trying ~40 & perl 5.024 & 5.28
Is there any chance that you have 2 different scrobbling clients
enabled?
You log sample does not (to me) appear to show the same track being
scrobbled more than once.
Can you post an extract from your logs of all lines with
"submitScrobble" (at least enough to show duplication)?

That is indeed what it SHOULD be, but this should not result in
definitive double scrobbles (image below). So there are actually three
submission moments: the first is now playing (I can also see that on
last.fm), but after refreshing TWO definiteve scrobbles on last.fm
(below).

I think that the first one is a "Now Playing" and the second is the
actual scrobble.
If you watch refresh your profile page on Last.fm you should see it
showing what you are listening to as the track starts .. but that is not
the scrobble.

This is a log example.. Don't really know how to read this, but it looks
to me as if the track is scrobbled when half of it is played AND when it
is finished. (instead of .OR.). Still got no clue how to solve this.
