Hi Brad,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I will try it when I can get a downtime for the system. Will update this
thread at a later time.
Thanks.

If you want to disable the X server on the console, you can instruct dtlogin to
not start one by performing the following
cp /usr/dt/config/Xservers /etc/dt/config/Xservers.SUNWut.prototype
Then edit /etc/dt/config/Xservers.SUNWut.prototype and comment out the :0 line.
Restart dtlogin and you'l
Yes, you do need some kind of display manager to manage the displays.
dtlogin is a display manager.

Hi Scott,
My DTUs sessions are using Static Assigned VDI (Advanced -> Kiosk Mode).
And I don't require my DTUs to use CDE/JDE, the Sunray servers just act as
a conduit for RDP.
So I thought CDE is not required. I disabled CDE, it disabled all DTUs.
Enable CDE, everything is back to normal.

designed to use token only, not insert_token. Remember t

The Sun Rays does not have accllerated 3D graphics.
You can use VirtualGL and redirect the graphics rendering to a

Sorry, I should have read your problem a bit more closely. I noticed the
"Video are blue!" comment, and jumped to the conclusion it was flash-related.

Alan,
How did you set up your kiosk mode? One of the choices is to use
CDE. For example, my oldest SRS setup uses the CDE option even though
users never see CDE [the TCs go to a customized splash screen instead].
But I suspect if I disabled CDE, I might have problems.

As I understand it:
For SunRay/VDI you need:
A right to use license per "concurrent user" which I assume to be "per
sunray".
You may then also buy:
Premium or basic support per sunray per year.
I have seen no Oracle pricing for this yet.
Then you need Solaris which is preinstall
