I concur with Jules -
Having been on the regulators side of the table, petitions or even just a
bunch of comments that pasted in the same message do little to move the
needle.
We need thoughtful messages that reinforce the importance of protecting
this place, using good science, and making smart
Carol, I understand your dilemma however, again my numerous experiences have
been 10 signatures doesn’t at all have the impact that 10 individual letters
will have. If you need help w/computing, I’m sure there’s a caver close by who
could assist.

Bill, is there a way to post those 49 comments on tex cave?
Over many years/decades of dealing w/City of Austin, TCEQ, USFW, TXDOT and
other bureaucracy’s, Science is what is needed, emotions don’t even touch
these people. I’ve interacted w/TCEQ staff who completely agree and still have
to fol
We’ve got very educated and articulate cavers out there. How about someone
writing up comments that others can copy and sign, send in? We need lots of
people, like ALL CAVERS, NOT JUST IN TEXAS to participate.
Geary, can this go out to the NSS at large for comment?
