Hi everyone, I just wanted to try to explain my current situation and see if any of you have any advice. I was covered under medicare and medicaid, and had been for about 7 years. My husband passed away suddenly in Dec. 2001 and at that time I started receiving a survivor benefit check along with t

Hi Pam,
I'm glad your husband did well with the surgery.
I've been to a neurologist and my orthopedist, and they both say

a hand surgeon who comes highly recommended.

Hi Kevin -- please be sure that you get a few opinions before
you have CTS surgery. Make sure that's what it is. And if you decide
to go ahead, get a damn good surgeon. My neighbor had this surgery a few
years ago -- she was a seamstress, and at the age of about 60 it all caught up
to her

I never
had hand problems until a few years ago, but I've had TM since 1988,

Hi all,
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
I was wondering if anyone has had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome
and how successful it was?
I have it in both hands, with severe numbness, weakness, stiffness,
pain. Are
these symptoms you had?
I'm also concerned that cts is the correct diagnosis
