Here in CT there is a large chain called Stop & Shop. I don't know how widespread they are, but they have a delivery service called PeaPod. It was a long time before they started delivering to my neighborhood. (guess they go to the rich folks first :) It has been a lifesaver to my Mom and me.

With the price of gas these days, a small delivery charge is not out of line at all. By the time you add in for time to pick out the groceries, delivery, let alone somebody bringing them to your door, it would certainly be worth making up a decent list and trying it out. Just call around

hi -- Rochester is a good-sized city -- please get out the yellow pages and call around to the closest produce stores & small grocers, you'll be amazed at how many offer delivery. I am in Toronto, and I wrote a whole book on places that deliver a few years ago -- there were *hundreds* of stores

There is another interesting thing about my diagnosis. Extensive MRI's, CAT scans, exrays, spinal tap, etc. were done. There were no lesions to be found in my brain or spine. But, in the spinal tap, there was a raised myelin protein level. So, they can't take MS off the table for me yet. Tim H
