Here in CT there is a large chain called Stop & Shop. I don't know how
widespread they are, but they have a delivery service called PeaPod. It
was a long time before they started delivering to my neighborhood.
(guess they go to the rich folks first :)
It has been a lifesaver to my Mom and me.
That makes sense, Gunny - unless you realize that it didn't start hurting until
after about 9 months. By that time I was easily walking a mile a day, and
occassionally, even close to 2 miles. Before TM hit I walked a lot (a 15
minute mile) and even afterwards, would often stand to push my whee

hi -- Rochester is a good-sized city -- please get out the yellow pages and
call around to the closest produce stores & small grocers, you'll be amazed
at how many offer delivery. I am in Toronto, and I wrote a whole book on
places that deliver a few years ago -- there were *hundreds* of stores

There is another interesting thing about my diagnosis. Extensive MRI's,
CAT scans, exrays, spinal tap, etc. were done. There were no lesions to
be found in my brain or spine. But, in the spinal tap, there was a

yes I do. I use it to transfer from my bed to my chair.
The method you describe is more precarious than direct transfer, as

Well, I just figured it was from the nerve damage. It never happened
until all the other TM symptoms started. I go to my neuron next month,

really respond. So, I didn't give it much thought. Good advice though.
