Hi Lynn and all,
I too was labeled a hypochondriac but a drug addict as well. Doctors said
to me, "You're paralyzed and don't have sensation...how can you say you feel
pain?"
After seven years of indifferent and unbelieving docs, I have finally found
a caring and supportive physi
Yep, that is exactly how it is! For the fairly new to the list family, you
should know that in general, the "old Timers" who stay on the list to help are
those who have not had a full recovery, so, like you, we are suffering. Those
who have stayed only for a short time, are usually those who h
Hi, Gilly,
I think I've been part of the TMIC and when I first came on, there was a
spirited discussion of some kind then but because there was so much caring
between those involved, I watched caring hearts work it out so it is like a
family. Things come up?? We work it out!!! j

Six years ago, I was a new person to the list and despite all the off topic
posts I found out so much about TM, I found a new family and many many friends
and I had a damn good laugh which helped so much.

I don't know what all the fuss is about either Jeanne, we have had for many
moons now an agreement that anything that is not TM related is simply prefaced
with OT in the subject line. In the early days of life with TM for me, it was
mostly the "OT" topics that saved my sanity. Not the relig
You, my dear sir, are way beyond help! I'm struggling with the temptation
to help you and add some more abbreviations but I think if we are both standing
in the corner there would be very serious consequences :_)) .

I cannot believe how much discussion this topic has yielded. This is not
that difficultsimply do not discuss non TM matters with the group. I
have no problem with a member discussing spiritualiy as a form of coping
with our condition...simply leave out religion, politics, jokes etc.

Good Morning from Montreal,
I agree with Sally!!
We need to develop code which will be put in the subject line:
We use OT for off topic.
We need to come up with an abbreviation for blessings, and other religious
stuff. How about PTL (praise the lord)? GBY (God Bless You)??
And Mature (Adult)
I think that is a wonderful idea Jeanne... kind of no different than when
someone puts something like "NWS" for Not Work Safe when they are sending
something not appropriate to be viewed or read while at work.
Thanxx for the idea..

Just wondering if anyone knows why the like to respond to postings no longer
