Well, I seem to be the only one taking the shingles vaccine.My doc assured
me there was no danger. He has been very protective with me and I
trust him.Also, my husband had shingles 5-6 years ago and I am the one who
gets TM.

Carol, John Hopkins hospital use to have a whole list but they have changed
their website. They had a list of 13 or so viruses and shinles was one of
them. Through out my lifetime, I had had 10 of the 13.
I had shingles about a year before TM.

vaccine. I didn't get, because I wanted to ask the TM group and the medical
people on the list.

I believe the steroids are only used at the "acute" stage,or when you have a
symptom of recurrance. Then they are used in high doses IV;you do not take them
long term for tm. They are used to reduce swelling,etc.
