The first time I got TM I had Hep B vaccine series and a flu shot before onset.
Second round of symptoms was after tetanus shot. This last flare up or
reoccurance was that since I was a diabetic nurse working first line in the

My doctor encouraged me to get the vaccine for shingles. He felt that with
everything else going wrong with my body, I was risking it to not get the
vaccine. Our insurance paid
for most all of it.

I have discovered my mother, sister and I all have auto-immune issues of
different kinds. my mother has rheumatoid arthritis, has had temporal
arteritis (a scaly scalp patch just at the temple of her head) and just this
last year, developed alopecia areata (loss of her hair). My sister had
