Yes, TM definitely sorts your true friends from the duds. I have a treasured
few that I still see and hear from on a regular basis. I expect we all have
tales to tell of disillusionment - my one that still hurts is the so-called
friend that I spent a lot of time with, holidays, etc.

I have a few who turned their backs on me, but they were not really good
friends.Basically, all of my better friends really stepped up to the
plate and stayed with me - 6 years.I am so very
lucky to have the family I have too - they are the best.
