I am not in wheelchair but have many other issues and I feel embarrassed to even mention them when I hear about the problems some of you have.  For example:  I had knee surgery last week and the rehab is very hard with the TM mixed in, but it seems so trivial because some of you can't even walk.  One thing I can say is I feel for each and every one of you and pray that they will find a cure or at least something to get you guys up and walking and doing things on your own again.  It's not pity.  It is a deeply sincere sense of caring and hoping.  I can't say I feel your pain completely, but I can feel the pain of TM every day and it has made life more complicated (Spoons)

Also, is there still a group that meets in the Houston area?  I would really like to participate if there is.
